The STEM/Science Club is an extraordinary opportunity to expand your skills in the various core components of the club. We cover many topics during the year from robotics to rocketry to designing and building models in the 3D printer. The mission of the STEM Club is to challenge each student to engage, learn and apply scientific principals and concepts in a way that practically and uniquely enhances the quality of life now and in the future. Having fun learning and collaborating is also part of the misson.
Currently during the first and second quarter of 2016-17, students are building, painting and flying rockets. As the rockets blast off and fly, students will learn how to calculate the velocity of the rocket. It is truly a fun and educational experience. Check out the pictures below.
Projects can vary according to the interest of students. If you have not experienced the STEM club and you wish to try it out, talk to Mrs. Early and come try it out. We meet every Monday for one hour. Of course, credit is earned with every hour put in.
